The boards

Every Watta is shaped by hand in Portugal, one at a time, and any board can be built to you. Pick a shape below, or design your own in the Shape Room.

Lady Twin Mid Length

Classic mid-length glide meets twin-fin speed. Four channels through the tail drive the water and hold your line through turns, so it carves long and clean without a centre fin. Early entry, easy paddle, sensitive enough to pivot in the pocket.

Pig Noserider

One pair
of hands

Luis Brito shapes every Watta by hand at his workshop in Arelho, just outside Caldas da Rainha, for surfers across Foz do Arelho, Peniche and Nazaré. He is one of very few in Portugal building performance boards fully by hand, a master shaper with decades of experience across short boards, hybrids, mid lengths and long boards, every one built to the surfer.

A board has to suit the surfer, not the other way round.
