Know what you want? A plain board in a standard size can be bought outright, no conversation needed. Payment is by simple bank transfer, arranged directly with Luis. Send the order form below and Luis is in touch to confirm your board and how to pay. The board is reserved once your payment lands. Collect free from the surf shack in Arelho, or from Surf Bunker or Surf Foz, stockists of Watta boards, or Luis confirms the shipping cost by email. Still deciding? A 50 percent deposit secures your place while the spec is worked out with Luis, and the balance is settled before delivery.

Model overview
Engage hyperspeed. The WarpDrive is a futuristic high-performance shortboard for maximum velocity, rapid acceleration and radical freedom. A sleek, aerodynamic outline and a sharp, responsive swallow tail make it an engine under your feet, for advanced, progressive surfers who want to generate extreme down-the-line speed instantly and explode out of the lip with zero resistance.
It generates and holds momentum through slow sections without heavy pumping, the shallow swallow breaks free easily at the crest for natural tail-blows, reverses and airs, and it holds a confident edge through high-velocity bottom turns. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, advanced
A progressive performance board for strong, advanced surfers. Leaned out along the rails for sensitivity, with enough centre thickness to paddle. Best in clean, fast waves. The chart gives an advanced and fit-intermediate weight for each size.
Design and conditions
- Wave size
- 2ft to 6ft, waist high to overhead.
- Wave type
- Punchy beach breaks, fast reef slabs and walled-up points. It loves clean, fast conditions where you outrun sections and throw critical turns.
- Outline
- Modern performance template with streamlined rails and a slightly wider sweet spot forward, a big platform for acceleration with a clean, catch-free nose.
- Rocker
- Moderate entry for fast paddling into a flattened middle for drive, finishing with an aggressive tail kick for fast pivot loops in the pocket.
- Bottom
- Deep single-to-double concave with a channel-vee out through the swallow wings, for instant lift and jet-like drive.
- Tail
- Sharp performance swallow tail. The dual pins add bite on leaning carves, and the deep V breaks surface tension for easy tail-slides and air recovery.
- Fin setup
- Thruster or quad convertible. Quad for raw down-the-line speed, thruster for precise vertical control.
