This policy explains what personal information Watta Surfboards collects, why, and what your rights are. Watta Surfboards is run by Luis Brito, based in Arelho, Óbidos, Portugal. For anything about your data, email luis@wattasurfboards.pro.
What we collect
- When you contact us or send a board spec: your name, email, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write, including the board details you choose.
- When you sign up for our guide or updates: your email address, handled through our email provider Brevo.
- When you place an order: the order and payment are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your order and your contact details, not your full card details, which Stripe processes securely.
- Basic technical data: our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser) to keep the site secure and working.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and shape and deliver a board you order (to perform our agreement with you).
- To send you the free guide or occasional updates, only if you asked for them (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
- To keep the site and orders secure (our legitimate interest).
Who we share it with
Only the services that make the site work: Brevo (email), Stripe (payments), Hostinger (hosting), and our form delivery service. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and order records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and tax obligations, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner where we are not legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will help. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
