Know what you want? A plain board in a standard size can be bought outright, no conversation needed. Payment is by simple bank transfer, arranged directly with Luis. Send the order form below and Luis is in touch to confirm your board and how to pay. The board is reserved once your payment lands. Collect free from the surf shack in Arelho, or from Surf Bunker or Surf Foz, stockists of Watta boards, or Luis confirms the shipping cost by email. Still deciding? A 50 percent deposit secures your place while the spec is worked out with Luis, and the balance is settled before delivery.

Born on the powerful, wave-crested coast of Peniche and fine-tuned for the competitive stage, the LA Performer is an uncompromising elite shortboard, custom-tailored to the demands of professional surfer London Almida. Razor-sharp reflex parameters give maximum speed, critical vertical release and radical pocket surfing, translating every ounce of pressure into instant acceleration.
It is built for advanced, fit competitors who want a highly reactive board with zero lag between decision and manoeuvre. Volume is stripped for sensitivity and elite technical control, so it is not a board to size up on. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, advanced to elite
A pro-series board for strong, fit, advanced surfers. The dimensions are leaned out and the volume stripped for maximum sensitivity, so it rewards precise, powerful surfing and is not forgiving for an improver. The chart gives the pro-competition weight range for each size.

- 2ft to 6ft plus, chest high to well overhead.

- Punchy beach breaks like Supertubos, critical reefs and hollow, fast-moving competitive arenas. Built for lightning-fast critical manoeuvres under heat pressure.
- Outline
- Ultra-refined, minimalist competition template, heavily pulled in through nose and tail to eradicate catching and allow instant adjustments on steep walls.
- Rocker
- Aggressive, continuous high-performance rocker for late, vertical drops and speed through heavy, critical pocket turns.
- Bottom
- Pro-level deep single-to-double concave, capturing water velocity under your feet for intense drive and hyper-fast rail-to-rail transitions.
- Rails
- Low-profile, razor-sharp performance rails for an immediate, aggressive bite into the face on high-speed carves without sliding out.
- Fin setup
- Precision thruster, for tight tracking, maximum pivot release off the lip and predictable control under competitive loads.
