Send the order form below and Luis is in touch to confirm your board and how to pay. The board is reserved once your payment lands. Collect free from the surf shack in Arelho, or from Surf Bunker or Surf Foz, stockists of Watta boards, or Luis confirms the shipping cost by email. Still deciding? A 50 percent deposit secures your place while the spec is worked out with Luis, and the balance is settled before delivery.

Model overview
The timeless speed machine. This Classic Twin Fin is a faithful tribute to the traditional 1970s fish, built for effortless paddle power, skatey freedom and down-the-line speed. A wide outline and a deep swallow tail let it glide over flat sections and fly across the face, all classic lines and flow.
It generates its own momentum, so you fly past sections with minimal effort, and the high volume-to-length ratio lets you drop 4 to 6 inches down from your normal shortboard without losing waves. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, intermediate to advanced
Easy to paddle and quick to speed, forgiving for an improving surfer and loose and playful for a strong one. A classic retro fish is meant to be ridden noticeably shorter, wider and thicker than a standard shortboard, so size down from your usual length. The chart gives an advanced and intermediate weight for each size, with a beginner range on the bigger sizes.
Design and conditions
- Wave size
- 1ft to 4ft plus, ankle high to chest high and a touch over.
- Wave type
- Soft point breaks, mushy beach breaks and long, lined-up walls. It carries momentum through weak, gutless surf where other boards slow down.
- Outline
- Ultra-wide and parallel. A wide nose gives stability and surface area under the chest, and the parallel lines make natural speed without pumping.
- Rocker
- Very flat entry and exit, a flat engine for maximum paddling efficiency and fast down-the-line acceleration.
- Bottom
- Traditional flat-to-vee or slight single-to-vee through the tail, so the wide board rolls rail to rail with a smooth, pivoting feel.
- Rails
- Full, boxy, down-turned rails carrying volume to the edge, keeping the board high on the water and out of the chop.
- Fin setup
- Traditional twin fin, glass-on or dual box, best with classic wide-base keel fins for drive, hold and projection through long turns.
