Model overview
Four fins, pure performance, zero friction. The Quattro is a refined daily driver built from the ground up to be ridden exclusively as a quad. Unlike a convertible shortboard, the fin clusters, rail foil and bottom contours are mapped for the extreme speed and hold of a four-fin, giving instant down-the-line projection and fluid, reliable turning arcs, the ultimate all-round quad for everyday waves.
It flies past flat or crumbling sections without over-pumping, grips hard through high-speed carves, and stays loose and skatey without the stiff tracking of an amateur quad layout. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, intermediate to advanced
A performance quad that rewards an advanced surfer and stays accessible for a strong intermediate who loves speed. Volume under the chest for paddle, refined rails for bite. The chart gives an advanced and fit-intermediate weight for each size.
Design and conditions
- Wave size
- 2ft to 6ft, waist high to slightly overhead.
- Wave type
- Soft or punchy beach breaks, everyday reef passes and sectiony points. It carries speed through flat sections and locks a line on steep walls.
- Outline
- Sleek, balanced performance silhouette. A pulled-in nose to stop it catching in the pocket, with a slightly wider midpoint for paddle efficiency and a stable sweet spot.
- Rocker
- Moderate entry for smooth entry, a flat fast mid-section and a medium tail lift, so it keeps quad speed while still turning tight and vertical.
- Bottom
- Deep single-to-double concave with a vee block through the tail, letting the wider fin footprint move rail to rail with total freedom.
- Tail
- Refined double-wing swallow or rounded thumb, a clean release point so the tail never feels sticky or tracks too straight.
- Fin setup
- Dedicated 4-fin quad. The rear boxes sit closer to the rails to maximise grip, drive and speed off the face.
