Model overview
The balance of speed, control and visual edge. The All-Around Red/Black Line is a premium daily driver for everyday, medium-sized waves. Strategic foam in a responsive chassis carries effortless down-the-line speed through slow sections while giving a crisp, sharp bite when you lean hard into a turn, the one-board quiver for surfers who want consistency and high-performance flow every session.
It glides over dead faces and fat sections without excessive pumping, and the forgiving foil lets you push turns harder and more critically without bogging or catching a rail. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, intermediate to advanced
A versatile default board that flatters an intermediate and rewards an advanced surfer. Enough hidden foam to paddle easily, refined rails for sensitivity. The chart gives an advanced and intermediate weight for each size.
Design and conditions
- Wave size
- 2ft to 6ft, waist high to slightly overhead.
- Wave type
- Soft or punchy beach breaks, everyday reef passes and sectiony points. It turns average wave energy into instant speed.
- Outline
- A balanced, modern all-around template. A slightly wider nose for paddle efficiency and stability under the chest, flowing into a clean tail for seamless rail-to-rail transitions.
- Rocker
- Moderate entry for easy paddling and early entry, a flattened mid-section for drive, and a gentle tail lift for snappy pocket turns.
- Bottom
- Single-to-double concave through the fin cluster, redirecting water under your feet for instant lift and extra speed without losing control.
- Rails
- Medium-to-full performance rails, forgiving in choppy, average water yet sharp enough to bite instantly on high-speed carves.
- Fin setup
- Thruster or 5-fin convertible. Thruster for classic, predictable tracking, or quad for a speed burst on weaker days.
