Send the order form below and Luis is in touch to confirm your board and how to pay. The board is reserved once your payment lands. Collect free from the surf shack in Arelho, or from Surf Bunker or Surf Foz, stockists of Watta boards, or Luis confirms the shipping cost by email. Still deciding? A 50 percent deposit secures your place while the spec is worked out with Luis, and the balance is settled before delivery.

Model overview
The high-performance bridge. The Hybrid Twin +1 gives you the blazing down-the-line speed of a twin fin with the precise pivot and drive of a thruster. An expanded forward outline paddles easily, performance rails and a sharp swallow tail broken up by flyer wings give radical manoeuvrability, turning average, fat or sectiony waves into a high-speed canvas.
It makes its own speed on weak faces and holds an incredible line when the wave walls up. Run it as a pure twin for a loose, skatey feel, or add the trailer fin for extra drive, stability and control through hard bottom turns. Like every Watta it is shaped by hand and built to you.
Skill level, intermediate to advanced
A versatile daily driver, easy to paddle and quick to speed, forgiving for an improving surfer and rewarding for an advanced one. The wings let a stable board pivot like a much shorter one. The chart gives an advanced and intermediate weight for each size.
Design and conditions
- Wave size
- 2ft to 6ft, waist high to slightly overhead.
- Wave type
- Soft or punchy beach breaks, everyday points and crumbly summer sections. It makes its own speed on weak faces and holds a line when the wave walls up.
- Outline
- Generous nose and middle packing hidden volume under the chest for paddling, running parallel for speed until a dramatic flyer wing before the fins narrows the tail.
- Rocker
- Low-to-moderate entry for instant acceleration into a flat mid-section for glide, with a subtle tail kick for vertical release.
- Bottom
- Deep single-to-double concave into a distinct vee through the swallow, for effortless, fast rail-to-rail transitions.
- Tail
- Winged swallow. The flyer wing breaks the rail line so a wide board pivots and breaks free, and the swallow adds two pin points for traction in critical turns.
- Fin setup
- Twin +1. Two large twin fins with a small centre trailer. Pure twin for loose and skatey, or add the +1 for drive, stability and control.
